Job summary

Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to manage a portfolio of funds totaling about $16 million annually. You will conduct monthly reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and support budgeting and forecasting for the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center.

You will partner with faculty and administrators across 12 colleges and The James to provide financial analysis, internal controls, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business field and 4 years of financial management experience.
• Knowledge of general ledger is required; strong accounting, policy, and finance knowledge is needed.
• Requires successful completion of background check and ability to work independently with initiative for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and administer a portfolio of OSU funds totaling about $16 million annually.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and financial statements for OSUCCC Finance Manager and senior staff.
• Develop business plans for faculty recruitment and large programs within OSUCCC.
• Collaborate with 12 university colleges, The James, and OSU ancillary services on financial management and reporting.
• Process and review journals, transfers, payroll adjustments, procurement, and accounts payable.
• Support year-end close, risk assessments, and internal control improvements.
