Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Arlington, VA to lead business partnering, financial modeling and cost reduction across operations. This role collaborates with retail, transportation and finance teams to provide timely analysis and strategic guidance for growth initiatives.

You will own weekly and monthly variance analyses, support annual planning, and drive opportunities to improve controllership and long-term free cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of finance, tax or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data to lead business improvement and cost reductions.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in short term execution and defect management with Operations.
• Supporting MEC and financial reporting for the NA Ports Access Points network.
• Identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise.
• Participate in the annual operational planning process and development of the three year strategic plan.
