Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance to partner with Operations, AR, AP, Treasury and other teams. You will use data analytics to identify inefficiencies in billing, collections, and vendor payments, develop dashboards, and drive process improvements across Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7–10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or related operational finance functions
• Experience supporting billing, AR, AP, or process improvement initiatives
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Operations, Billing, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance
• Experience with data analytics and reporting to drive process improvements

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Account Management, Operations, Billing, AR, and AP to analyze data and improve billing accuracy and collections (15%)
• Lead projects supporting process improvements and strategic initiatives (10%)
• Review aged receivables for key global customers to identify collection delays and root causes (8%)
• Collaborate with Global Billing to analyze disputes and invoice delivery challenges (7%)
• Develop and maintain dashboards to identify billing/collection issues before aged invoices (15%)
• Analyze shipment-level data to find inefficiencies and opportunities to improve payables and collections (20%)
• Support AR/AP in evaluating collection challenges and building analytical tools (5%)
• Develop and utilize Excel/Power BI to validate billing against rates, tariffs, contracts (5%)
• Support AP leadership by analyzing vendor billing trends and automation opportunities (4%)
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and support automation/controls projects (4%)
• Support AP process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and fraud prevention (2%)
• Handle ad hoc analyses and align operations with financial reporting (2%)
• Monitor recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions to prevent repeats (3%)
