Placements24 seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Upington, Northern Cape. The role focuses on in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting to support strategic decisions across the organization.

You will partner with department heads to build robust financial models, perform variance analysis and contribute to long-range planning. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, strong quantitative skills and proficiency with financial software.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or FP&A experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel with advanced functions and macros.
• Experience with FP&A software is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct variance analysis and explain deviations from budget/forecast.
• Support annual budgeting process with department heads.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for strategic decisions and initiatives.
• Evaluate financial implications of projects and opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs and financial performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior management.
