Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong academic record.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Preferred: Experience with Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, MEDITECH, Strata.

Responsibilities

• Financial Data Analysis: collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources.
• Trend Forecasting: support development of forecasts by analyzing historical data and drivers.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: participate in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting; assist templates and variance analysis.
• Journal Entries: assist in preparation and posting of routine and ad-hoc journal entries.
• Financial Board Package: prepare monthly board package with data and schedules; review for accuracy.
• Collaboration: work with departments to gather financial information and ensure internal controls.
