Job summary

JMP, a SAS subsidiary, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team at our Cary, NC HQ. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Candidate must have CPA or equivalent, 8+ years in accounting, and solid ERP/NetSuite experience. The position emphasizes collaboration with management, accuracy, and the ability to present complex financial information across levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• CPA certification or equivalent qualification required.
• 8+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably globally.
• 5+ years of revenue recognition experience.
• 8+ years experience with ERP systems.
• 3+ years experience with a CRM system (NetSuite preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports for general management use.
• Review, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports for management.
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget.
• Prepare periodic financial forecasts and variance analysis.
• Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial and operating plans.
• Provide financial analysis for business decisions as required.
• Perform technical analysis to forecast future financial performance.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies.
• Review schedules and work papers for internal auditors as needed.
• Analyze data and implement process improvements.
