Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Finance Analyst in Fort Mill, SC to act as the primary finance contact for Branch and District Managers and to partner with the Finance Manager on planning and analysis. This role requires 2–5 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and comfort with travel.

The ideal candidate will lead monthly forecasting, perform detailed financial analyses, and support the annual budget process while maintaining strong cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance required or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of related work experience in finance/analytical roles.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and analysis.
• Proficiency with enterprise reporting systems and building financial models.
• Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with excellent investigative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Primary finance contact for Branch and District Managers; interact with senior field leadership.
• Assist Finance Manager with analysis and requests for senior operational leadership team.
• Address finance-related inquiries and provide succinct analyses.
• Compile and execute month-end journal entry requests (inter- and intra-Branch).
• Lead monthly market-level forecasting for the designated business unit.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews focusing on prior month results and forecast.
• Support annual bottom-up budget process.
• Audit quarterly and annual field incentive calculations.
• Execute ad hoc analyses (new locations, fleet mix, facility impacts, leasehold analyses).
