Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive operational excellence across FCC agriculture operations through budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting. The role involves monthly actual vs budget/forecast reviews, GL scrutiny, and model development for projects across agriculture, harvesting, hauling, and shop operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of financial analysis experience, strong Excel and GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Power BI.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Strong Excel skills: financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, pivot tables.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems desirable.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; high accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interdepartmental interaction.
• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Self-starter with collaboration and accountability.
• Ability to interact with field operations, maintenance, and leadership.
• Power BI proficiency (data modeling, DAX, report publishing).
• Python or similar scripting for data automation/ETL is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction/transformation.

Responsibilities

• Support planning/forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual.
• Review equipment to determine replacement cycles and costs.
• Leverage ERP systems to report actual performance vs budget/forecast.
• Provide variance commentary for management decisions.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and planning support.
• Extract insights from data and visualize via dashboards and reports.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reports.
• Develop data pipelines integrating ERP, telematics, and sensor data.
• Track operational KPIs: equipment utilization, maintenance costs, harvest performance.
