Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead budgeting and forecasting for the BOM, Engineering NRE and Tooling. You will work closely with Engineering on next-gen products and translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership.

The role requires strong Excel/ERP skills, 5+ years in finance, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. This is a full‑time, on-site role in California with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with emphasis in Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in Product Development.
• Intellectually curious: understand the why behind the numbers.
• Detail-oriented: values precision and accuracy.
• Critical thinker: evaluate problems from multiple angles.
• Creative problem-solver: identify obstacles and propose solutions.
• Highly organized: manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Become the BOM subject matter expert; analyzing changes and reporting weekly variances.
• Lead strategic BOM initiatives; partner with Engineering to assess financial tradeoffs for design changes.
• Partner with Engineering to budget, forecast and set targets for BOM and investment for future programs.
• Collaborate with Technical Program Management to understand BOM changes and ECO impact via CRB.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure BOM data integrity.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.
