Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The role focuses on PPBE of funds, budgeting, and cost analyses in a DoD environment with access to systems like WAWF, GAFS, SDW, and CRIS.

The successful candidate will provide financial baselines, forecasts, and program reviews, with duties spanning EVM/schedule analyses, cost estimation, and IPT coordination. An active TS clearance and DoD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Ten years of relevant DoD or government/contractor experience.
• At least three years in an SAP environment within the last eight years.
• MS/MA or MBA in business, management, accounting, finance, or economics.
• Experience and degree must relate to the functional area.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and budget development support for baselines and budgetary documentation.
• Reconcile accounting data, develop status reports, and perform obligation/expenditure forecasting.
• Assist in contract reconciliation and contract closeout.
• Provide PMA analysis and manage budgeting/execution tasks for funds.
• Consult with management on financial operations and improvement opportunities.
• Present program analyses and briefings to IPTs; coordinate decisions.
• Support planning milestones, risk assessments, and data baselines.
• Perform Earned Value Management and schedule analyses; assess cost/schedule impacts.
• Conduct cost estimation activities, including CERs, CBA, and related analyses.
