Job summary

MDW Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on DoW budgeting, PPBE processes, and financial execution for complex weapons programs at Redstone Arsenal.

You will lead budget formulation efforts, prepare justification materials, and coordinate with senior leadership to defend spending plans. Strong Excel and MS Office skills, plus clear written and oral communication, are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DoW budget/finance experience
• Experience leading budget formulation
• PPBE, POM, BES, Top Lines for S&T within DoW

Responsibilities

• Understand DoW or MDA PPBE process and develop budget documentation
• Support PBR and President's Budget preparation for RDT&E, O&M, Procurement, MILCON
• Lead or support teams in presenting analyses and resource reallocation
• Prepare program funding requests (PRs, MIPR) and defend budgets
• Maintain financial databases and track spending against controls
• Provide supervision to support teams and deliver briefings to senior leadership
• Learn and grasp programmatic aspects of agency and linking program elements to projects
