Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to support a DHS program, based onsite in Arlington, VA and/or Washington, DC. Candidate must be a US citizen with DHS Public Trust eligibility.

The role involves managing contracts, budgets, and documentation across the lifecycle of multiple orders. Requirements include 5–9 years of finance experience, knowledge of Federal Acquisition processes, DHS financial management practices, and proficiency in Visual Basic and MS Access.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of professional finance experience.
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition process.
• Experience with DHS financial management processes.
• Strong data handling with Visual Basic and MS Access.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contractual documents over the life of the project.
• Maintain acquisition and contract files within the Branch Repository.
• Support the preparation of market research and justification documents.
• Create, submit, track and report status of IT Service Requests (ITSR) and IT Change Request (ITCR) as needed.
• Document the customer invoicing and payment process supporting the Government.
• Facilitate and lead discussions with IT Program Managers and CORs in the monthly invoice review.
• Attend and participate in management reviews and serve as point of contact for project funds prioritization.
• Assist IPTs by preparing agendas, minutes, and action items; ensure IGCE, PWS, SOW, and Market Research are included.
• Coordinate with Finance/acquisitions to confirm budget status and funds.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
