Siemens is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Data Center Sales Vertical. You will partner with leadership to drive profitable growth, provide financial transparency, and influence investments across this key market.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and profitability analyses, delivering executive-ready insights and scenarios to guide strategic decisions across Sales, Operations, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of FP&A, controlling, commercial finance, or business finance.
  • Experience building financial models, forecasts, business cases, and exec presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Basic understanding of AI-enabled tools and automation for analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Data Center Vertical leadership supporting growth strategies and performance management.
  • Lead FP&A activities including budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and revenue/order projections.
  • Provide financial insight via scenario modeling, profitability analysis, and opportunity assessments.
  • Evaluate investments, capacity expansion, and business development through robust business cases.
  • Support governance for major pursuits by evaluating profitability, risk, and pricing assumptions.
  • Monitor KPIs, identify risks/opportunities, and drive actions to improve outcomes.
  • Develop executive reports, dashboards, and presentations translating results into recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, R&D, Product Management, and BU leadership to align financial and strategic goals.

Senior Financial Analyst - Data Center Vertical Finance

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Data Center Sales Vertical. This role will work closely with business leadership across the USA to drive profitable growth, provide financial transparency, influence investment decisions, and support strategic initiatives in one of the company's most important growth markets.

  • Serving as the primary finance partner to Data Center Vertical leadership, supporting growth strategies, business planning, and performance management.
  • Leading financial planning activities including annual budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and revenue and order projections.
  • Providing financial insight and decision support through scenario modeling, profitability analysis, and market opportunity assessments.
  • Evaluating strategic investments, resource requirements, capacity expansion initiatives, and business development opportunities through robust business case development.
  • Supporting financial governance for major pursuits and strategic customer opportunities by evaluating profitability, risk, pricing, and commercial assumptions.
  • Monitoring key business performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving actions to improve financial outcomes.
  • Developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate financial results into actionable business recommendations.
  • Partnering across Sales, Operations, R&D, Product Management, and Business Unit leadership to ensure financial objectives are integrated into strategic and operational decisions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), controlling, commercial finance, or business finance.
  • Experience building financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Basic understanding of AI-enabled tools and automation, with an interest in applying them to financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence leaders across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting sales organizations, strategic growth initiatives, or vertical markets.
  • Knowledge of capital investment analysis, valuation methods, and scenario planning.
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with data center, industrial, electrical, infrastructure, or technology markets.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA certification.
