Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Data Center Vertical Finance team in the U.S. Sales Vertical. You will partner with leadership to drive profitable growth, provide financial transparency, and influence strategic investments across North America.
You will build models, run scenarios, and create executive-level reports to enable informed decisions and strong performance against plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or related finance.
- Experience building financial models, forecasts, and executive presentations.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting tool skills.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled tools and automation for analytics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner to Data Center Vertical leadership and drive growth.
- Lead financial planning: budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and revenue projections.
- Provide financial insight via scenario modeling and profitability analysis.
- Evaluate investments and business opportunities with robust business cases.
- Govern major pursuits, assess profitability, pricing, and risks.
- Monitor KPIs and drive actions to improve financial outcomes.
- Develop executive dashboards and reports translating results into actions.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, R&D, PM, and BU leadership.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Data Center Sales Vertical. This role will work closely with business leadership across the USA to drive profitable growth, provide financial transparency, influence investment decisions, and support strategic initiatives in one of the company's most important growth markets.
- Serving as the primary finance partner to Data Center Vertical leadership, supporting growth strategies, business planning, and performance management.
- Leading financial planning activities including annual budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and revenue and order projections.
- Providing financial insight and decision support through scenario modeling, profitability analysis, and market opportunity assessments.
- Evaluating strategic investments, resource requirements, capacity expansion initiatives, and business development opportunities through robust business case development.
- Supporting financial governance for major pursuits and strategic customer opportunities by evaluating profitability, risk, pricing, and commercial assumptions.
- Monitoring key business performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving actions to improve financial outcomes.
- Developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate financial results into actionable business recommendations.
- Partnering across Sales, Operations, R&D, Product Management, and Business Unit leadership to ensure financial objectives are integrated into strategic and operational decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), controlling, commercial finance, or business finance.
- Experience building financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of AI-enabled tools and automation, with an interest in applying them to financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence leaders across multiple functions.
- Experience supporting sales organizations, strategic growth initiatives, or vertical markets.
- Knowledge of capital investment analysis, valuation methods, and scenario planning.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with data center, industrial, electrical, infrastructure, or technology markets.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA certification.

The pay range for this position is $81,753 - $140,148 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
