Job summary

Horizon3 is a fast-growing cybersecurity company in Oregon seeking an FP&A professional to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with a focus on accuracy and insight.

You will build consolidated financial models, analyze variances, and drive planning via Pigment and other tools, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve forecasting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of FP&A experience, ideally in SaaS or high-growth tech.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and process improvements.
• Comfort with FP&A systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; ability to distill data into insights.
• Proactive, builder mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.
• Prepare and maintain consolidated financial models including income statement, balance sheet, headcount, OPEX, and cash flow.
• Consolidate results across departments and reporting dimensions.
• Analyze actuals vs budget/forecast; identify drivers, variances, trends, and risks.
• Prepare recurring management reporting and financial presentations for Finance and leadership.
• Partner with Accounting to understand close results, accruals, restatements, and items affecting reporting.
• Build and scale FP&A processes and KPIs; support rollout of Pigment.
• Support annual operating plan, long-range planning, and scenario modeling.

What You'll Do

• * Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting cycles
• * Prepare and maintain consolidated company financial models, including income statement, balance sheet, headcount, operating expense, cash flow, and other key planning schedules.
• * Consolidate results and forecasts across departments, entities, cost centers, and other reporting dimensions
• * Analyze actuals versus budget, forecast, and prior period results; identify key drivers, variances, trends, and risks
• * Prepare recurring management reporting and financial presentations for Finance and company leadership
• * Partner with Accounting to understand close results, accruals, reclasses, and other items affecting financial reporting
• * Build and scale FP&A processes, reporting packages, KPIs, and planning infrastructure, including support for the rollout of Pigment, our new planning tool
• * Support the annual operating plan, long-range planning, and scenario modeling processes

What You’ll Bring

• * 4-7 years of FP&A experience. Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology, ideally cybersecurity or enterprise software, is preferred
• * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• * Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and financial process improvements in a fast-paced environment
• * Comfort with FP&A systems, automation, and AI-enabled tools, with the ability to identify opportunities to streamline planning, reporting, and analysis workflows.
• * Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and recommendations
• * A proactive, builder-oriented mindset and comfort operating in an evolving, high-growth environment
• * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership

In accordance with various State's transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:

• * Base salary range: $115,000- $151,000. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
• * Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
