dbt Labs is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for Cloud Infrastructure to drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization across cloud and AI spend. You will partner with Engineering, Product, and Finance to translate usage drivers into financial outcomes and build scalable models and dashboards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in strategic finance at fast-growing software companies, strong modeling skills, and experience with cloud cost tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance roles at high-growth software companies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of cloud spend across multiple cloud and AI vendors.
• Build and maintain detailed bottoms-up financial models for cloud infrastructure spend, including long-range forecasts and cost driver analyses.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Finance teams to design and execute cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Support contract negotiations through scenario modeling of cloud usage, pricing, and discount structure.
• Build and maintain cloud & AI unit economics reporting and forecasting including cost allocation models.
• Develop dashboards, automated reporting, and executive-level reviews to track cloud spend and KPIs.
