PHINIA, a diversified industrial supplier headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead the monthly close, manage forecasts and budgets, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting and emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Master’s or CPA is a plus.
• SAP and OneStream experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Highly driven / self-starter.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial results.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for assigned areas.
• Monitor balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, and resolve accounting issues.
• Review accounts receivable aging with shared service center to identify past due items and drive resolution.
• Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes for corporate functions.
• Perform ad hoc projects as needed for the corporate accounting and corporate reporting teams.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal control requirements.
