Job summary

Somatus, a leading provider of outcomes-driven care for chronic conditions, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to maintain accurate financial statements and 3-statement models, delivering insights for strategic decisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA, or 2 years of investment banking at a bulge-bracket bank, or 3-5 years of strategic consulting experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, or related function.
• Strong experience maintaining and building integrated 3-statement financial models.
• Advanced financial modeling expertise, including automation, P&L and cash flow analysis.
• Proficient in data modeling, automation, and reporting using Power BI (semantic models, data transformation, etc.). Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms).
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and corporate finance fundamentals.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel-based coding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cash flow analysis and forecasting, including short-term liquidity planning and long-term cash flow projections.
• Analyze and monitor the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy of accounts, identifying trends, and explaining variances.
• Support the preparation of the company’s P&L, cash flow statements, and balance sheet reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning.
• Monitor key drivers of working capital, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve cash management, capital efficiency, and financial performance.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reporting processes.
