JobScore, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst 1 to manage operating processes for authors, talent, vendors, contracts, invoices, and payments. You will build financial models, analyze performance, and support budgeting and reporting for multiple units.

The role requires 4–5+ years in FP&A, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with Oracle/SAP/Fusion. This onsite position is a 6-month assignment with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of experience in financial planning, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills with high-volume data handling.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, SAP, Fusion, or other financial planning tools.
• Ability to partner with multiple directors across station markets.
• Desire to learn about the media industry and TV station businesses.

Responsibilities

• 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

A leading media and entertainment company seeks a Senior Financial Analyst 1 to manage the operational processes supporting authors, talent, vendors, contracts, invoices, payments, and internal workflows while establishing efficient systems and processes.

Senior Financial Analyst 1 Responsibilities:

• Create financial models and perform complex scenario analysis across multiple business units, while analyzing financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with television station markets on monthly forecasting and support the preparation of annual budgets, long-range financial plans, and ad hoc analyses and corporate submissions across 17 stations.
• Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, and consolidation.
• Assist with capital expenditure requests, reporting, and project tracking, as well as accounts payable activities including reviewing and reconciling invoices, coding documents to G/L accounts, and processing expense reports.
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and other key materials for finance leadership and the executive team, while performing research and analysis using large datasets.

Senior Financial Analyst 1 Qualifications:

• 4-5+ years of experience in financial planning, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills, including the ability to work with high-volume data, pivot tables, graphs, modeling, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Strong comprehension of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, SAP, Fusion, or other financial planning tools.
• Ability to partner with multiple directors across station markets.
• Strong desire to learn about the media industry and television station businesses is preferred.
• Prior media, news, or entertainment industry experience is preferred.

Shift:

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Onsite at multiple offices (rotating daily).
