Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead FP&A activities within a fast-growing behavioral health tech company. You will build budgets, forecast models, and long-range plans while partnering with operations to drive revenue and cost optimization.

Ideal candidates bring 4–7+ years in FP&A, SaaS metrics experience, and the ability to present insights to senior leadership. This remote-friendly role supports the company’s strategic initiatives and board reporting.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of FP&A or related analytics experience.
• Experience in SaaS with ARR and recurring revenue metrics.
• Experience in a private equity-backed company with PE reporting expectations.
• Experience preparing monthly financial reporting packages and board materials.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication with senior management and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast results, and support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance and translate operational drivers into financial outcomes.
• Analyze key performance indicators related to recurring revenue, labor costs, productivity, utilization, and profitability.
• Participate in preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, management presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting processes, data quality, and analytical tools, including automation.
• Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc financial analysis to inform leadership decisions.
• Communicate financial insights and actionable recommendations clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Experience in a SaaS business, including familiarity with recurring revenue models, ARR, revenue growth drivers, and SaaS performance metrics.
• Experience working in a private equity-backed company, with an understanding of PE reporting expectations, financial accountability, and operating cadence.
• Experience preparing monthly financial reporting packages, management presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with members of the senior management team and others within the Company

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or similar service-oriented businesses.
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to improve financial analysis, modeling, reporting, research, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools.
