Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the accounting and finance team. You will build and maintain financial models, support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, and partner with operational leaders to drive strategic decisions.

We value hands-on analysts with SaaS experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate insights to senior leadership. This is a remote role with US-based candidates eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4–7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
• Experience in SaaS with recurring revenue models and SaaS metrics (ARR, growth drivers).
• Private equity-backed company experience and PE reporting expectations.
• Experience preparing monthly financial packages, management presentations, and board materials.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior management and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast results, and support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance and translate operational drivers into financial outcomes.
• Analyze key performance indicators related to recurring revenue, labor costs, productivity, utilization, and profitability.
• Participate in preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, management presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, forecasting processes, data quality, and analytical tools, including automation.
• Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc financial analysis to inform leadership decisions.
• Communicate financial insights and actionable recommendations clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Experience in a SaaS business, including familiarity with recurring revenue models, ARR, revenue growth drivers, and SaaS performance metrics.
• Experience working in a private equity-backed company, with an understanding of PE reporting expectations, financial accountability, and operating cadence.
• Experience preparing monthly financial reporting packages, management presentations, and board reporting materials.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with members of the senior management team and others within the Company

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or similar service-oriented businesses.
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to improve financial analysis, modeling, reporting, research, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools.
