As a Senior Financial Analyst within our Valuation and Modeling Team, you will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive strategic decision-making. You will analyze complex financial data, develop actionable insights, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the firm’s operational efficiency and financial performance. This position has a direct impact on the financial success and strategic growth of SN’s advisory services.

What you’ll do at SN:
- Design, build, and maintain complex financial models for a wide range of client needs, ensuring accuracy, flexibility, and scalability.
- Act as a direct interface with other departments and clients, gathering their requirements and translating them into actionable financial models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models align with the company's financial data and business needs.
- Integrate models with financial statements in adherence to GAAP and FAR principles.
- Monitor and evaluate financial modeling tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
- Develop efficient processes that ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Generate regular performance reports and dashboards, identifying key trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimization
What you may have done before:
- Worked at an AEC or CPA firm as a financial analyst
- Worked with multiple teams or clients supporting their needs for data visualization and financial analysis and modeling
- Supported budgeting and forecasting processes across departments or client portfolios
What it takes to be Senior Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Advanced degree or certifications like MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a professional services or CPA firm.
- Demonstrated experience in building financial models, scenario planning, and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support cross-functional engagement.
- Project management skills with a proactive, process-improvement mindset.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial auditing standards.
- Prior experience in the A/E industry or knowledge of key performance metrics is highly preferred.

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $95,000 - $115,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
