Job description

The Platform Services and Emerging Technology (PSET) Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide insights and efficiencies to our budget, forecast and close processes.

The ideal candidate should have an eagerness to learn, ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and excellent analytical skills. This individual contributor role will report to the Senior Manager, PSET Finance.

Responsibilities

Drive and complete our recurring financial deliverables: budget, forecast and close

Automate recurring deliverables such as journal entries and SOX compliance evidence

Support the finance business partner community with their financial management processes

Provide financial modeling and analysis support to annual planning process

Analyze, and report spend and headcount trends to ensure forecast accuracy

Ensure compliance with US GAAP as defined by our Corporate Accounting team

Prepare periodic reporting and ad-hoc analyses to ensure data driven business decisions

Drive automation, identify opportunities to drive efficient, consistent processes, partnering across functions and leveraging best practices

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics

3 years of related finance experience or business analysis background

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling) and PowerPoint

Growth mindset and ability to learn quickly

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Organized, resourceful and a strong team player

Comfortable working in a cross-functional, dynamic environment, managing multiple, sometimes competing, priorities and tight deadlines

Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plus

Experience using planning and reporting software (e.g. Anaplan, BusinessObjects) is a plus
