Clorox is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Litter & Kingsford Business Units to own the close and forecast processes and deliver rigorous financial insights. You will partner with finance and cross‑functional teams to analyze revenue dynamics, manage P&L, and drive value through accurate analytics, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.

The role emphasizes collaboration, GAAP-compliant close, and proactive risk mitigation to support profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with MS Office, BW, Essbase, and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Close activities for the Business Unit following GAAP.
• Forecasting for annual budget, plan updates, and gap management.
• Analyze variances vs prior forecast and year-ago to identify value opportunities.
• Assess revenue drivers, pricing mix, and product assortment impacting P&L.
• Coordinate inputs and due dates for close and forecast.
• Support leadership with profitability analyses and stakeholder insights.
• Lead ad hoc requests and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and present presentations for various audiences.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly in S&OP and business reviews.

Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst you will own the close and forecast processes for the Litter and Kingsford Business Units, working closely with finance and cross‑functional partners. You will analyze business dynamics and provide insights to help deliver financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Complete close activities for the Business Unit, ensuring accounting follows corporate guidelines and GAAP.
• Perform forecasting activities for the annual budget, subsequent plan updates, and gap management.
• Analyze variances to prior forecast and year‑ago, identifying opportunities to drive value.
• Focus on revenue, understanding volume, mix, and assortment impacts, overseeing the full P&L.
• Lead the Business Unit’s financial cycles (close, forecast, gap), coordinating inputs and due dates.
• Drive category profitability by influencing stakeholders and providing insights to leadership teams.
• Proactively identify issues affecting profitable growth and recommend mitigation plans.
• Lead ad hoc requests and serve as a resource for strategic initiatives.
• Design and deliver effective presentations tailored to specific audiences.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly, acting as Finance’s voice in S&OP and business review meetings.

Qualifications

Salary ranges:

• Zone A: $69,600 – $127,400
• Zone B: $63,800 – $116,800
• Zone C: $58,000 – $106,100

This role is eligible for Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to plan terms and policies.
