Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of forecast reporting, data loads, and related financial deliverables while supporting continuous improvements to reporting and forecasting processes.

What You'll Do
Sales and Margin Forecasting
  • Own the monthly sales and margin forecast for the assigned buying area, working with buyers to move from the baseline to a final forecast.
  • Interpret YTD results, historical trends, seasonality, and Buying and Operations insights to identify the key focus points each cycle where the forecast should be challenged or adjusted.
  • Discuss forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities with buyers, and challenge assumptions that are not supported by the data.
  • Prepare the materials for the monthly sales and margin alignment meetings with area leaders.
Financial Analysis and Business Planning
  • Analyze actual results against forecast and budget, explaining key variances related to price, volume, mix, cost, and other relevant business drivers.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy by country and department, identify recurring variances, and use findings to support improvements in subsequent forecast cycles.
  • Support the annual budget and ad hoc merchandising analysis such as margin, pricing, and vendor funding.

Month-End Close Support

  • Detail-oriented, with a strong track record of accurate, on-time recurring deliverables.
  • Manages multiple priorities and monthly deadlines while working autonomously.
