Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, based in New Haven, CT, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support corporate finance with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. You will work with OneStream data, Excel-based reports, and management presentations to provide accurate insights.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborates with finance, accounting, and business partners to deliver high-quality reporting and actionable analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP foundation and IFRS exposure preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets.
• Experience with OneStream reporting and Excel-based reports.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations using OneStream and Excel.
• Build and update Excel reports with OneStream queries.
• Assist with management PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis vs. plan.
• Analyze financial results, costs, and variances to identify risks and improvements.
• Prepare intercompany allocations and related documentation.
• Support internal control, audits, and accounting processes.
• Partner with finance and business teams to explain results.
• Support acquisitions integration and purchase accounting as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc analyses.
• Limited travel up to 5%.

ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in access solutions, with operations in more than 70 countries. The Americas Division is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team in New Haven, CT.

This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close activities, business analysis, OneStream reporting,Excel-based reports using OneStream queries, and preparation of management PowerPoint presentations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with finance, accounting, and business partners to provideaccuratereporting and useful insights.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, andmanagementpresentationsusing OneStream data and Excel reporting tools.
• Build,maintain, and update Excel reports using OneStream queries to support recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Assistwith management PowerPoint presentations.
• Assistwith annual budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis of actual results versus plan.
Analyzefinancial results and cost variances toidentifyrisks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare intercompany allocations, billings, and related support documentation.
Support internal control compliance, audit requests, and documentation of accounting processes.
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather data and explain financial results.
Support financial integration activities for acquisitions, including reporting, restatements, and purchase accounting support as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and ad hoc financial analysis projects.
Limited travel may be required, up to 5%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or month-end close.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; GAAP experiencerequiredand IFRS exposure preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and analysis of large data sets.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream reporting, including creating, running, andmaintainingExcel reports using OneStream queries.
Experience with ERP and reporting systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Hyperion, Power BI, or Business Objects is helpful.Ability to prepare clear financial reports andassistwithmanagementPowerPointpresentations forleadership review.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional partners.Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.Limited travel may berequired, up to 5%.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced OneStream reporting experience, including report maintenance, data validation, and use of OneStream queries in Excel.
Experience in a multi-divisional, manufacturing, or global organization. Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, purchase accounting, or financial restatements. Interest in improving financial processes, reporting tools, and automation.
