Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, experience analyzing complex data sets, and the ability to provide actionable insights to business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting activities.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Analyze operating results and identify key business trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare variance analyses and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Support long-range planning and scenario modeling efforts.
• Create and present financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed.
• Support business cases for investments, capital expenditures, and new initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or related professional certification.
• Experience with financial planning and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar systems.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
