Job summary

Kraton Corporation in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial support to management, ensure best-in-class financial reporting, and partner with the commercial and operating teams to drive shareholder value.

The role emphasizes budgets, forecasts, data integrity, and timely performance analysis to inform strategic decisions. 5–10 years in finance is expected; CPA/MBA a plus; SAP and BI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
• Experience with SAP FI/COPA/BI is preferred.
• Chemical industry or manufacturing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support in budgets, operating plans, forecasts for Supply Chain.
• Build and maintain data hygiene for PO setup and data management; provide timely reporting and analysis.
• Enhance reporting to provide insights into current and future performance.
• Collaborate with Segment Controllers, VP Supply Chain, and Logistics for analytics and forecast input.
• Deliver key reporting metrics for Kraton Pine Chemical leadership.
• Perform ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies for Supply Chain
• Build and maintain data hygiene strategies for correct purchase order set up, input data management and building blocks for analysisProvide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
• Build and enhance reporting to provide meaningful insight into current and future performance
• Liaise directly with Segment Controllers and VP Supply Chain and Logistics for financial insight on both current period analytics as well as point of view development for forecast builds.
• Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for Kraton Pine Chemical Leadership Team.
• Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting required.
• Knowledge of accounting policies and practices.
• Excellent problem solving skills, detailed oriented with focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
• SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred.
• Experience with BPC a plus.
• Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful business information.
• Effective communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation with an emphasis in the English language.
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
• Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA a plus.
• Chemical industry or manufacturing experience required.
