Job summary

Emerald Resource Group is conducting a remote healthcare finance role for candidates based in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey or Massachusetts. The role centers on FP&A within value-based care and reimbursement models to support organizational growth.

You will collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance, employing advanced modeling and analytics to optimize reimbursement strategies and reporting.

Required Experience

Candidates must have direct healthcare finance experience and a strong understanding of value-based care reimbursement models and alternative payment methodologies (APMs). Candidates without a healthcare finance background will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Required: Prior professional experience in healthcare finance.
• 3+ years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or accounting.
• Must currently reside in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, or Massachusetts
• Required: Experience with or a strong working knowledge of value-based care reimbursement models and alternative payment methodologies (APMs), as well as traditional fee-for-service (FFS) structures.
• Strong understanding of healthcare financial performance, reimbursement structures, and financial and operational reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet applications.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
