THE·TEAM is seeking a finance professional to shape FP&A for the Sports Talent business in a fast-paced environment. Build revenue and P&L models, forecast performance, and analyze employee commissions while partnering with accounting and agent teams.

Responsibilities include monthly variance analyses, management reporting, and ad-hoc projects. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • 5+ years Finance/Accounting experience, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial models and forecasts for revenue and P&L to support planning.
  • Analyze financial performance and employee commissions across departments.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management review.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed, collaborating with accounting and other teams.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial records.

You’ll build and maintain revenue and P&L forecasts, analyze performance and employee commission structures, prepare management reporting, and partner closely with accounting, agent teams, and other stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented finance professional with strong forecasting, budgeting, Excel, and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.What You’ll DoMaintain financial models and forecasts : Create and maintain detailed models (revenue and P&L) for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes for multiple groups within the Sports Talent businessAnalyze employment agreements and create financial models for employee commissionsAnalyze financial performance : Analyzing financial data by comparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts with actual results by working with various departments including Accounting to determine reasons for fluctuations and identify financial risks and opportunities. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets.Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting packages for purposes of Management review.Ad-hoc analysis and projects : Create and prepare various ad-hoc reports and projects for management as needed.Collaborate across departments : Work closely with other departments (including agent teams) to gather inputs for financial models and to ensure alignment with overall company objectives and strategies.Process improvement : Identify, develop, and implement process changes to increase efficiency of processes and the accuracy of financial records.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related subject5+ years Finance/Accounting experience, including forecasting and budgetingMust have strong Excel skills, including knowledge of Pivot Tables and advanced formulas (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, etc.). Power Query a plusKnowledge and use of Adaptive Insights with Office Connect a plusPrevious industry experience is a plusExcellent analytical and communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to flag or highlight issues that may impact the analysis and decision-making processesWork well under pressure and meet deadlines while paying close attention to detailHighly organized with strong ability to multi-task, team playerBase salary range: $100,000 – 105,000 plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
