About the Company

Our client is a leading food and beverage manufacturer with a corporate office in the Dallas region is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its high-impact finance team. This role will play a key part in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving visibility into operational and financial metrics across the business.

Position Summary

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll partner closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide financial insight, modeling, and reporting. You’ll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and identifying cost-saving opportunities—all while supporting the company’s growth and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
• Track and spearhead the 13-week cash flow forecast
• Provide detailed financial analysis around sales, COGS, gross margin, and operating expenses
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate performance, product profitability, and investment decisions
• Partner with plant operations and supply chain to track key KPIs, inventory metrics, and production costs
• Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, variance analysis, and scenario modeling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives such as new product launches, pricing changes, and capital investments
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting packages
• Evaluate financial performance against KPIs and make recommendations for improvement
• Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed by executive leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
• 4–7 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or CPG environment
• Strong understanding of cost structures, manufacturing finance, and P&L analysis
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion)
• Proficiency in ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to non-finance stakeholders

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the food & beverage industry or other perishable goods sectors
• Understanding of supply chain finance, SKU-level margin analysis, and pricing strategy
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities
