  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to partner with leaders to drive strategic objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned units.
  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities to improve performance.
  • Collaborate across departments on cash flow planning and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and executive dashboards.
  • Monitor results against budgets and forecasts and communicate insights.
  • Support external reporting with banks and lenders.
  • Build complex financial models for scenario planning and investment analysis.
  • Perform sensitivity analyses to assess impact of changing assumptions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to drive growth and efficiency.

Soni's Client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning, performance analysis, and executive reporting initiatives. This role will partner with leaders across the organization to provide insights that drive business decisions, improve financial performance, and support long-term growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities for assigned business units, partnering closely with operational and corporate leaders to understand performance drivers and develop meaningful business metrics.
  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations that support strategic business objectives and improve overall performance visibility.
  • Collaborate across departments to support cash flow planning and financial forecasting initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level reporting packages for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor business results against budgets and forecasts, communicating trends, variances, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist with financial reporting requirements for external parties, including banking and lending partners.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and uncover opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models used for scenario planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision support.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and evaluate the impact of changing business assumptions on financial outcomes.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations that support organizational growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency within the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to support strategic and operational goals.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000 annually

Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
