Job summary

Henniges Automotive seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team in Michigan. You will support financial consolidations, coordinate accounting activities, and analyze the company’s results to drive informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of manufacturing or public accounting experience, knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, and experience with consolidation software (OneStream, PLEX). CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Job description

Henniges Automotive has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This individual will support financial consolidations, coordinate accounting activities and provide analysis of the organization’s financial results as a member of the corporate finance team.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Analyze and provide technical accounting guidance (IFRS) in the areas of capitalized development cost, leases and tooling.
• Responsible for specific corporate ledgers and accounting topics.
• Oversight of leases and account reconciliations.
• Provide input for the monthly forecast and annual budget – IFRS topics.
• Prepare specific business and accounting reports for management.
• Responsible for the administration of certain accounting systems.
• Assist in gathering information for external financial audits.
• Manage special projects and drive optimization through new business processes.
• Provide support and guidance to other functions within the corporate accounting team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• 5 - 7 years of experience in manufacturing and/or public accounting
• Automotive experience is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus

Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS Accounting Standards
• Strong computer skills particularly in MS Office
• Collaborative and team-oriented, one who can meet required deadlines
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach
• Prior experience with consolidation financial software and ERP systems (OneStream, PLEX, etc.)
