We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing, private equity–backed company. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure to the private equity ownership group and senior leadership.
This person will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business analysis. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, understanding what drives performance, and turning financial data into actionable recommendations—not simply producing reports.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the CFO to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership and the private equity ownership group, including clear commentary on results, trends, and key business drivers.
- Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Build and maintain financial models to support growth initiatives, capital investments, and strategic decisions.
- Partner with department leaders to understand operating performance, evaluate spending, and strengthen accountability.
- Develop and track KPIs related to revenue growth, profitability, operating expenses, cash flow, and working capital.
- Support the preparation of board presentations, lender reporting, and investor requests.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure reporting accuracy and connect month-end results to forward-looking analysis.
- Improve reporting processes, financial models, and analytical tools as the company scales.
- Support acquisition analysis, due diligence, and integration activities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and how the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement connect.
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical insights for financial and nonfinancial audiences.
- A hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Confidence working directly with a CFO, executive leadership, and private equity stakeholders.
- Experience in a private equity–backed, acquisitive, or high‑growth business is strongly preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and business intelligence platforms is a plus.
Why Join?
- Direct access to the CFO and exposure to private equity ownership.
- Opportunity to influence business decisions and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.
- Broad responsibilities across financial planning, operational analysis, and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to help build and improve the finance function as the business grows.
