Bluegrass Community & Technical College seeks a Senior Financial Aid Specialist for Scholarships to oversee the college-wide scholarship programs and ensure compliance with donor, grant, state, and institutional guidelines. You will supervise the scholarship process, collaborate with the Advancement Office, and provide high-level support to students on funding options.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with KEES and state aid programs, and the ability to conduct outreach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years’ relevant experience, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the college-wide scholarship program, coordinating with the Advancement Offices and chairing the Scholarship Committee.
• Monitor and evaluate scholarship awards and acceptance, ensuring flexible awarding practices with faculty involvement.
• Assist with KEES, Early Childhood, and other state aid programs; conduct annual audits and reconciliations as needed.
• Provide student counseling on funding options and complete required financial aid forms and workshops.
• Attend professional development and financial aid conferences; participate in state financial aid associations.
