Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines seeks an experienced Senior Financial Advisor to provide objective, fee-based advice and asset management while serving clients in their best interests. This fiduciary role avoids marketing activities and emphasizes independent planning with a dedicated support team and retirement planning tools.

Compensation includes base salary plus bonus, with total target cash range of $125,000–$350,000; final pay determined by responsibilities, experience, location, and market

Qualifications

• Direct client-facing experience in a fee-based wealth management or planning role.
• Results-driven track record in forming client relationships and growing practice.
• Active Series 65 is required.
• Active Health and Life Insurance license or ability to obtain within three months.
• Clean U-4 on file.
• CFP or similar certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients in their best interests with objective, fee-based advice.
• Evaluate client situations and analyze needs to tailor recommendations.
• Develop and present compelling financial plans and strategies.
• Build positive relationships to grow client base and retention.
