Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Advisor in the Portland area to provide objective, fee-based advice and asset management. You will serve clients in a fiduciary capacity, guiding them toward thoughtful financial plans without marketing activities, supported by a dedicated team and retirement-planning tools.

The role requires client-facing experience in wealth management, a Series 65, and a valid Health/Life license (or plan to obtain).

Qualifications

• Direct client-facing experience in a fee-based wealth management or planning role.
• Active Series 65 required or ability to obtain.
• Active Health and Life Insurance license or plan to obtain within three months.
• Clean U-4 on file.
• CFP or another certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve the client's best interests with outstanding financial advice.
• Evaluate client situations and analyze their needs.
• Develop and present a compelling set of recommendations.
