Senior Financial Advisor

AFIN Family Wealth Management specializes in holistic financial planning for individuals and businesses. Our goal is to make financial planning understandable and accessible through personalized, hands-on service. We educate clients about financial concepts and products, demystifying investing, insurance, estate conservation, and wealth preservation.

Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment management services. Your responsibilities include managing client relationships, providing tailored advice, and guiding clients towards their financial goals. The ideal candidate has extensive wealth management experience, a strong understanding of financial markets, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Required Experience and Education

  • 5+ years successful financial services sales experience with a verifiable commission history of at least $300,000 GDC and/or $30 million or more in expected AUM
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Life and Health Insurance license
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65)

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Proficiency in financial planning software, portfolio management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Positive attitude, high energy, professional demeanor
  • Good judgment in recognizing urgency and setting priorities
  • Ability to pass criminal and credit background checks
  • Quickly understand new concepts and learn new technology
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies
  • Commitment to goal-based planning and advice
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients' goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation
  • Create customized financial plans covering investments, retirement, taxes, estate planning, and risk management
  • Provide strategic advice on financial products and services, including debt, cash management, insurance, and investments
  • Prepare and verify financial plans, then implement them
  • Regularly monitor and review client portfolios for alignment with goals and market conditions
  • Offer ongoing guidance and education, addressing client questions professionally
  • Execute trades as required
  • Stay updated on industry trends and research market developments
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ethical standards in all interactions
