• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned real estate properties and development projects.
• Perform property-level accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, and general ledger transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and property-level reporting.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for properties and development projects.
• Record and reconcile construction and development costs.
• Review property operating expenses and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports for management, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with property management, development, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits, tax-related requests, and other accounting projects as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting.
