Job summary

Solaris by Roessel Joy LLC in Boston seeks a finance/accounting consultant to join a client‑facing team. You will interact with client leadership to deliver solutions across the finance function, from technical accounting to ERP implementations and IPO readiness.

You should have 2–5 years in a top public accounting or equivalent role, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. CPA is desirable; familiarity with ASC 606/842 and CECL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with client management to address operational and technical accounting challenges.
• Handle complex transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, debt, and equity.
• Design and implement improvements to the financial close, internal controls, and forecasting processes.
• Provide technical accounting consulting and prepare memorandums, calculations, and projects (ASC 606/842, CECL).
• Assist clients with IPO financial and reporting aspects.
• Participate in ERP system selections and implementations.
• Support business development through pursuits and market activities.
