SBA Communications seeks a Senior Finance Technology Support Analyst to provide advanced Tier 2 functional and application support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with emphasis on end-to-end finance processes. This responsibility profile supplements the Senior Finance Technology Support Analyst job profile by defining the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations specialization. The role provides advanced application support, first‑level root‑cause assessment, issue coordination, functional guidance, and end‑to‑end Finance business‑process support. It does not include direct people‑management responsibilities or ownership of application development, integration engineering, data engineering, enterprise reporting engineering, infrastructure, or the D365 platform roadmap.
Provide advanced Tier 2 functional and application support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations incidents, service requests, defects, access questions, configuration issues, and processing exceptions.
Apply functional knowledge across core D365 F&O areas, including financial accounting, payables, receivables, banking, fixed assets, budgeting, procurement, projects, expenses, collections, reporting, and tax.
Support Finance users in the effective use of D365 processes, workflows, approvals, inquiries, and standard reporting capabilities.
Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial processing by diagnosing application issues, coordinating escalation, and validating restoration of affected business processes.
Resolve functional and configuration issues that fall within approved procedures, access, and assigned responsibilities.
Assist with configuration reviews, functional impact assessments, testing, and business validation.
Document incidents, findings, resolutions, workarounds, recurring patterns, and known errors.
Coordinate with Microsoft, implementation partners, managed service providers, and third‑party vendors when specialized support is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline and 5 years proven experience with enterprise application or ERP support, including hands‑on support of D365.
Strong functional knowledge of D365 F&O and end‑to‑end Finance processes, including financial accounting, payables, receivables, banking, fixed assets, budgeting, procurement, projects, expenses, credit and collections, reporting, tax, treasury, cash application, and financial close.
Demonstrated ability to provide advanced Tier 2 support, perform incident triage, assess business impact, conduct first‑level root‑cause analysis, gather evidence, trace transactions across connected applications, and coordinate escalation with Tier 3 specialists or accountable technical teams.
Experience with requirements analysis, functional and regression testing, documentation, change management, business validation, and clear analytical, troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication practices.
Experience with Finance‑related applications and platforms such as Vertex, HighRadius, treasury, banking, payment, reconciliation, cash application, collections, credit management, deductions, accounts receivable automation, or similar capabilities.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, and with enterprise delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Ivanti, or ServiceNow.
Experience supporting global, multi‑entity, or multi‑country Finance operations, including awareness of SOX, IT General Controls, segregation of duties, and controlled production‑change practices.
