Job summary

The Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) is modernizing how it supports members, employers, and internal operations. This Management Analyst 3 role focuses on finance processes, data integrity, and automated workflows across IPERS divisions, collaborating with external vendors and state agencies.

Ideal candidates bring strong organizational skills, project management capabilities, and a commitment to public service, with knowledge of state procurement rules and statutory reporting

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited U.S. four-year college or university; degree in any field.
• Experience in project management, management analysis, data science, or business systems analysis may be required.
• Public sector experience or familiarity with government fund accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, implementation, and automation of divisional workflows and dashboards with external partners.
• Upload, reconcile, and validate complex accounting and member data for statutory reporting.
• Serve as SME for end-to-end purchasing, RFQs/RFPs, and asset lifecycles including GovDeals and Workday travel/expense approvals.
• Manage software subscriptions, user access controls, and document processes for governance.
