Job summary

Osprey Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead architecture, design, and delivery of finance technology solutions in regulated Life Sciences environments. The role requires hands-on technologist capabilities across enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and cross-platform integration.

You will own end-to-end solution architecture for financial systems, drive governance, security, and regulatory compliance, and mentor teams while aligning with business sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT solution architecture experience; 5+ years in a senior/lead architect role.
• Deep hands-on expertise in enterprise finance systems and their integration ecosystem — NetSuite, Coupa, OneStream, Concur, FloQast (and similar SaaS platforms).
• Experience designing cloud-based SaaS architectures and cloud-to-cloud, API, microservices, and file-based integrations (Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and reference/future-state artifacts.
• Experience in regulated industries (biopharma/life sciences) with relevant compliance knowledge (21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills for senior leadership.
• Experience collaborating with offshore/onshore resources and remote stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state integration landscape and define a future-state integration architecture with governance for development, security, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture and design for enterprise platform implementations.
• Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, and recommendations prioritizing scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain configuration specifications, integration blueprints, and architecture docs.
• Research emerging technologies and propose cost-effective, flexible, innovative approaches.
• Provide risk assessment and alternative perspectives on technical/delivery decisions across platforms.
• Define AI strategy for financial systems and identify where AI-enabled workflows improve processes.
• Lead internal/external resources across analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, deployment.
• Manage MSP work within budget and ensure delivery meets standards and quality.
• Oversee end-to-end execution for systems/projects with scalable, secure solutions compliant with regulations.
• Manage vendor releases, testing, and production deployment; align with release cycles.
• Represent IT on cross-functional initiatives; translate business requirements into designs and solutions.
• Build cross-functional relationships and lead meetings with clear objectives.
• Contribute to strategy and roadmap for domain.
