Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Non-Investment Finance Expert in New York to build and evaluate expert-grade financial deliverables for AI training and evaluation. This is hands-on, document-heavy work requiring strong financial craft and judgment.

You will develop and review PnL, reconciliations, and 3-statement/pro-forma models, and draft CFO-ready narratives explaining assumptions and recommendations. 3+ years in a similar role and CPA/CA/ACCA/CIMA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on non-investment finance role (e.g., product control / financial control / FP&A).
• Strong US GAAP / IFRS knowledge; comfort with incomplete/ambiguous information.

Responsibilities

• Build and review deliverables such as PnL and mark-to-market reconciliations; vendor/AP reconciliation under cash constraints with controls; integrated 3-statement and pro-forma models.
• Reason from primary sources and separate material from distractors.
• Write CFO/partner-ready narratives explaining assumptions, variances, and recommendations.
