Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) seeks a Lead Solution Architect (Finance) in the Dallas/San Antonio area to drive end-to-end solutions for complex initiatives within Order-to-Cash, data, and ERP domains. You will partner with Product, Finance, and IT to align strategy with delivery outcomes.

The role demands expert architecture, governance, and mentoring across multiple teams, leveraging SAP/MDG, cloud, and enterprise integrations to enable scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and equivalent experience.
• 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years in architecture.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale architectures spanning multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale architectures across processes, data, apps, integrations, cloud, and security.
• Own solution direction, governance, patterns, and guardrails for delivery.
• Mentor architects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Shape roadmaps and deliver measurable business outcomes.
