Westinghouse Electric Co in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Senior Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst, APX, to support a US AP1000 project with month-end close, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting. Hybrid work arrangement in Cranberry Township, PA.

You will prepare funding requests, invoices and partner with PM, Project Controls and Supply Chain to ensure timely financial cycles. 4+ years FP&A experience and SAP/BPC BW skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of progressive FP&A, accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures is required.
• Experience with SAP, BPC and SAP BW for financial planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports and analyses of financial results and variances.
• Support annual business plan development and forecasting.
• Coordinate project funding requests and invoicing with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in external cost reporting and budgeting processes.
• Ensure SAP/BPC/BW reflect project performance and status.

About the role:

As a Senior Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst, APX, you will support a US AP1000 new plant build project on month end financial closing activities, forecasting, analyses, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will also help prepare project funding requests and invoices. We have two Senior Financial Analyst openings. You will report to the Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA headquarters and work hybrid. Hybrid Work Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reports, analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, analysis of variances and business trends to support the financial performance and results of the project.
• Support the preparation and delivery of the annual business plan.
• Partner with Project Management, Project Controls, and Supply Chain functions on a daily basis to issue timely project funding requests/invoices.
• Help prepare external forecasts and cost reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with other members of finance team to ensure consistency in processes and assumptions.
• Guide continued enhancements in financial planning and analysis.
• Ensure that SAP, BPC and other financial systems reflect project financial performance and status.
• Prepare detailed budgets and calculation of man-hour labor rates for the project staff.
• Recommend and review accounting entries for analysis of Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or FP&A experience
• Knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles, internal control procedures, financial concepts
• Experience with financial planning and analysis for Income Statement and Balance sheet
• Experience in SAP, BPC, Business Warehouse preferred
• We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $76,400 to $95,500 per year.
