Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a senior finance professional to lead APX project financials. Located at Cranberry Township, PA, with hybrid work options, the role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting for US AP1000 projects.
The candidate will collaborate with Project Management and Finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting, adherence to internal controls, and timely, compliant reporting to stakeholders.

You will be the lead resource for a US AP1000 new build projects regarding financial control, forecasting, financial closing, budgeting, cost accounting, analyses, and financial reporting. There will also be external reporting requirements and oversight of invoicing process. You will report to the Controller, APX Projects North America and EMEA, and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA headquarters or Waltz Mill-Madison, PA location. Hybrid Work Schedule.
Provide financial oversight and decision support to the Project Director and APX Finance Management team
Partner with Project Management and Project Controls to ensure accurate forecasting for the Project and work with General Accounting (GAC) and Financial Controls to ensure reporting and compliance with policies
Coordinate with your team in other finance teams (e.g. APX Ops Finance) for overall Project financial management and oversight
Provide periodic reporting to all partners to ensure compliance with requirements and timely funding of project
Establish and oversee invoicing process compliant with Westinghouse internal controls and procedures and contractual requirements
Lead development, preparation and delivery of the annual business plan
Lead the monthly closing, forecasting and reporting processes for the project including preparation and delivery of reports, analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identify main variances and trends and propose appropriate actions
Recommend and review accounting entries for Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years broad based finance experience, 10+ years typical
Knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles, internal control procedures, financial concepts (including financial planning techniques)
Experience in SAP, BPC, Business Warehouse
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be #112,400 to $140,500 per year.
