Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Finance, Operations to lead monthly closings, deliver financial results, and guide budgeting cycles for multiple locations. The role requires strong P&L knowledge and collaboration with operations and leadership teams.

The successful candidate will manage invoices, forecasts, and labor metrics, partnering with HR and vendors to ensure accurate cost delivery and reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-year Accounting/Finance degree required.
• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Must have experience with P&L analysis.
• Strong budgeting & forecasting skills.
• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• ERP software experience (SAP) helpful, not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete the month end closing for assigned location(s), including accruals and journal entries.
• Prepare and present financial result analysis to operations and leadership teams.
• Act as the finance expert for invoicing and external budgeting cycles (AOPs and quarterly PO budgets).
• Review monthly expense postings and prepare reclasses.
• Prepare and submit monthly invoices and supporting documentation to the customer.
• Create and analyze internal budgets, forecasts, and flash reports.
• Provide periodic and ad hoc financial reporting from ERP systems and spreadsheets.
• Create and review labor productivity reporting and metrics.
• Liaise with HR on accurate employee coding.
• Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies on hours and pay rates.
• Review and approve A/P invoices for payment.
