Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Springfield to drive financial analysis and month-end close for the Finance/Operations area. You will prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, collaborating with operations leadership.

The role requires strong Excel/Sheets skills, P&L experience, and ability to partner with HR and external vendors. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience required.
• Prior experience with P&L analysis is a must.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills required.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; SAP experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end closing for assigned locations with accruals and journal entries.
• Prepare and present financial results analysis to operations and leadership.
• Serve as finance expert for invoicing and budgeting cycles.
• Review monthly expenses and prepare reclassifications as needed.
• Prepare monthly invoices and backups for customers.
• Create and present budgets, forecasts, and flash reports.
• Provide financial reporting using ERP data, spreadsheets, and manual sources.
• Develop labor productivity reporting and metrics.
• Coordinate with HR on position/task/financial coding.
• Work with temp agencies on hours, pay, and invoicing.
• Review and approve AP invoices for payment.
