Job summary

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the resort’s Accounting Department and partner with Finance leadership on performance, policies, and capital projects. You will oversee daily financial operations, reporting, and internal controls across all hotel departments.

You will drive forecasting, budgeting, and planning, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and adherence to Hyatt standards.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a large hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and hospitality accounting practices.
• Experience leading financial processes, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Accounting Department, including G/L, AP, AR, Income Audit, and General Cashier.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning through analysis and reporting.
• Assist with month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement accuracy.
